The goal of this "Minicurso" is to introduce the notion of a supermanifold by precise definitions and examples, plus some remarks on history and motivation of the subject. The basic theorems cannot all be proven in this course but all statements are explained in detail, ideas of proof are provided and references are supplied. After covering the "general theory", the integration of vector fields on supermanifolds is treated as an example of a (slightly) more advanced theme, with an emphasis on examples and applications.
